Two of clen's main attributes are fat-burning and its ability to retain muscle tissue. Steroids such as anavar and winstrol also have similar effects.

First and foremost the drug must not be used by women who breastfeed or are pregnant. It’s also advised that for anyone suffering with conditions such as glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, heart conditions or high blood pressure should not take clenbuterol.
Of course there are always going to be people that abuse drugs, and push things to the limit, consequently increasing the likelihood of them experiencing more severe side effects.

For most people the side effects of Clen are only temporary and subside quickly. These side effects are:

How To Cycle Clenbuterol & Dosage
So, how much should you take of Clenbuterol? And for how long?
Clen comes in tablet form which you ingest with a glass of water. It’s advised to take clenbuterol in the morning upon waking. If taken later in the day it’s likely to increase the chances of insomnia and poor recovery – something most people want to try and avoid.
To start with, people new to clenbuterol should take a low dosage and run shorter cycles.
Although dosages may differ from person to person, they're normally between 40-160mcg daily.
Whether you take 40 or 160mcg's depends on what the athlete/individual is willing to take and the desired outcome looking to be achieved.
As a general rule of thumb most people consume 120mcg per day (3 x 40mcg tablets).
However, taking any more than this and the positive effects start to drop off and the risks get higher. It’s important not to take too much too soon when taking a new substance.
Cycles can be 2 days on 2 days off, although some people may do longer cycles such as 2 weeks on followed by 2 weeks off. The shorter the cycle, the less risk and vice versa…the longer the cycle the more risk of experiencing negative side effects.
Cycling the stimulant gives your body a chance to recover and reduces the risk of the detrimental side effects such as toxicity building up in the body, poor sleep and fatigue.
Clenbuterol & Sleep
Like any stimulant, it can effect sleep. Some people are more sensitive than others. For example there are people who can have 5-8 cups of coffee per day and sleep like a baby. But then there are others who have more than 1 cup and they’re up all night.
As individuals we have different sensitivities to certain drugs and stimulants and if you do suffer with poor sleep, then clenbuterol could make things worse, so be wary of this.
If this happens there are some options to consider:
- Stop taking the stimulant altogether
- Make sure to take Clen first thing in the morning upon waking

Monitor Progress & Health
Whilst taking Clen it’s important to keep a daily log of your statistics, not only the physical one’s i.e. weight, measurements, body fat, photos, etc but also the mental ones i.e. how you're feeling each day. Keep a journal and assess the following daily:

Although it’s recommended that you don’t take Clen for more than 16 total weeks (over the course of a year) people do take more than this, especially bodybuilders with multiple competitions a year, or fitness models with photo shoots each month. At least if you monitor yourself you can prevent any long term damage and make calculated decisions along the way.
Typical Clenbuterol Results
It’s impossible to say exactly what results you'll get from using Clenbuterol, as there are other factors that effect your gains.
For example, if a skinny guy who’s never worked out before uses Clen, he’ll just get skinnier – so he may not get great results. However if a guy's been bulking for 6 months then starts using clen – he’ll get leaner and could obtain a beach body in 4-16 weeks (depending on starting body fat levels).
As a general rule, a person will burn 0.5 – 1% of body fat for each week they take clen.
Even though Clen raises body temperature and reduces appetite, the rate at which you lose body fat will depend on the overall calorie deficit that’s being created. Just because you take clenbuterol doesn't mean you're guaranteed amazing results, you still need too…
- Train with Intensity
- Workout regularly (at least 4x per week)
- Eat well (track calories and consume wholesome foods)
